PHONE CONNECTION

I have a Partner System and 1 of the phones has power, but when you go off hook to answer or make a call..there is dead air. Phone was swapped with another working phone and the problem still happened.

Any suggestions?

Try plugging the new telephone directly into the port on the processor. If you have dialtone, then there is a wiring problem. If there is no dialtone then the port may be bad.

Dexman is correct. It sounds like there is no tip/ring connectivity.
