Phone answers automatically

One specific phone has just randomly started to automatically anwser its own phone calls. There hasnt been any upgrade/downgrade to either switch. Both ip406's are running 2.1(249601), if that helps.

Have you checked HfAns in the softkey menu on the phone?

Look in the user short code. Look for an entry that starts with *DCP. If the feature is CW and the telephone number is siniliar to 0,0,1,1 DELETE IT. That has been around for awhile. *DCP was meant to be a code that was entered from the phones display however the catch 22 is that you can not turn on call waiting from the display menu. BUG!

That code (for me in the past) has also allowed DSS keys to show the status of a user or group. One day it wasn't working on a particular phone and I discovered that was the only phone that didn't have the DCP code. Once put in, the status keys lit up properly.

Thats one of those "gotcha's" that I don't fully understand. What does that code actually MEAN?!?
