All,
Using IP406, Phone Manager 2.0 on Win2k machines.
In the "Phone and Modem Settings" > "advanced" > "Avaya TAPI32" configuration, the "user name" settings are those entered on the installation of the Phone Manager (the first part where it detects your switch and prompts for a user name).
We have a third party software interface to the Avaya TAPI and it uses this setting to log itself to the phone system to route the call *back* to the agent (it's a dialler).
We have different users using each PC with different phone manager logons. No matter what, this setting in Phone and Modem Options will NOT update dynamically NOR does it seem to be profile specific.
Net effect is third party TAPI software will only ever work for one user. We're having to use generic phone system log ons for this and it's not good.
Anyone had a similar problem or can suggest a res?
