Don't you just love the English in phishing scams? Here's one I got today from a "professional."

Greeting, I professionally advise that you digest and assimilate this that I have brought forth to you before taking your next decision. Be inform that this is legal and has little or nor risk and I would in my discretion keep it as discreet as possible.
You know what, this guy sounds just like a lawyer. ;-) [small]Sorry, no offense intended to real laywers.[/small]

Lawyer? Is it mentioned somewhere in the text?

Anyway, you got to give the guy a benefit of the doubt!;-)
Possibly, he sounds like a lawer who doesn't speak English and uses online dictionary to translate his texts! :-D

They do it on purpose, so the marks can believe that they are smarter than the writers...

I may have gotten this site from someone here, I can't recall. It deals with people who receive these scams, then try to "bait" the scammers. Bait means trying to convince the scammers that one is interested in their scam and making them do ridiculous, time-consuming and especially money-consuming things to reel in the catch. Some of these are quite amusing, some can be disturbing (like the one woman who targeted disabled British men for their government disability money), but all of them deserve to have their chains yanked mercilessly.

If nothing else there is a treasure-trove of emails with poor spelling, grammar, etc. Enjoy!
