Can any one give me any idea's, I have a Philips Freevents LS1400 PC, it has gone into sleep/hibernation mode and won't come out.

Have tried new batteries in mouse and Keyboard, also have plugged PS2 keyboard.

Have reset bios which normal would solve such a problem, but no, still doesn't boot up, all that happens in the sleep icon on front panel flashes and the fan spins

Sounds like something went bad in hardware. Take all your ram sticks out except one. Try them one at a time and see if it boots.

Have tried removing ram and using new stuff, no change

Have also removed all plug n play cards, still get the hibination logo on front panel and the fan speeding up and down

How about video card? Could be a dead motherboard
