Phaser 860 Query (Prevent 7 days purge cycle)

Hi all,

I read from some of the threads that phaser 860 and 8200 has a weekly ink purge cycle to prevent the ink from changing color from "cooking". Just wanted to know if I keep printing consistently, will this cycle still occur ? If yes, how much printing does it require ? Is there a 'quota' kind of stuff ?

It takes a lot longer then a week to cook the ink. If you are only printing black and white and occasionally use color, then you will experience a change in pigmentation.
