Phaser 860 part number help

My dead phaer, model 860/MDX, as a main board reference 671-5279-01-16895.

This reference seems to be unknown to xerox/tektro support people.

Does someby has anything about this crazy part ?

The main board for the 860 is part number 650421005 list price is $640.

Thanks for that, but that's not what Itrying to figure out....

I already know that...

My problem is that my phaser came from factory with a main board whose part number IS 671-5279-01, that is a true fact.

But neither any documentation or support people seems to know anything about this particular part number.

This main board has got a hard drive directly fited via a piggy board and DOES NOT have any boot/code chip installed.. It has worked like that for around 4 years and now that only the disk drive is dead, nobody is able to find a simple/easy solution for my problem....

So I'm desperatly seeking anything about and only about the main board reference 671-5279-01

that is not the part number of the board
that is a manufacture code that is writen on the board and has nothing to do with the REAL part number
