Hello there...
I have a Phaser 860 that displayed error code 15.004.45.34775.Took it apart found bad bulbs inside preheat drum unit, replaced bulbs, reassembled it.Now, when the unit powers up,displays shows that it goes thru post procedure, displays xerox logo, ready light turns on green, and just sits there. Never starts cycling, no error codes.
I noticed that drum never gets warm, no light is seen thru
the right side openings. I tested bulbs again -they are fine, cleaned drum thermistor. I did this procedure before without any problem.Am I overlooking something? Maybe, some sensors,or flags in the wrong position. Or how to reset the unit back to factory settings?
Please respond..
Tony

did you check the plug on the right side of the printer that you plug into the paper drum heater...

Yeah...of course. I checked thermistors on the board behind the halogen bulbs- they are not open. Problem is -no error codes, just sits there with xerox logo and ready light green.Help.....

Have had this problem before, try reseating the main logic pcb, (two screws on back) be firm when pushing back in, also reseat the rom module and memory, making sure contacts are clean.
