hi

got an 09.006.41 error but can't look it up (xerox site playing up) anyone know this error.

The magenta ink-melt heater is on, but ink does not seem to be
dripping. Check that the ink stick is able to advance in the chute. An ink stick jam will be reported three times before an ink-melter fault is declared. Replace the ink loader. If the problem persists,replace the power supply.

Remove all of the magenta colorstix from the ink loader. You might have to pry the last stix out the a screwdriver. Clean out all debris and reload the inkloader with whole stix. Usually something is stopping the stix from moving freely down the loader.

And on a side note, I have seen people put stuff in the ink loader, like a wad of paper, to make the printer think there is ink, when they are low. And have seen where the ink has been used up in the tray and the paper or other object is the only thing left in the loader.

And since there isa no ink, there is nothing to melt.
