Phaser 850. Scraping sound.

Anyone had to replace a Y-axis belt drive assembly for noise? An awful scraping sound as the belts turn. Very noticable even in standby mode as brief low speed belt rotation is made.

Sounds like worn out bearings.. it doesn't seem to be coming from drum side, just the Y-axis assembly itself, as the belt turns.
Print quality is not affected and system check all passed.

I'm hesistant to disengage or remove a belt to troubleshoot without asking here first,, as it may really scRew something up in the timing. *I had those 3 face screws out of the Y-axis before i read the manual and read NEVER to remove those 3 screws! Now I'm a bit gunshy!

Thanks for any input.

Yes I've changed several y axis assemblies because of noise. They are not hard to replace. Later
