I've currently got a 850 in the workshop which is making a "ripping" sound as the paper comes out of the top output tray. I believe the ripping sound is actually the paper sticking to the transfer drum (eg. the wax is sticking to the drum and the paper sticks as well). This also causes the following pages to have ghost images of the previous pages. My current thinking is that the sticking is caused by the maintenance kit needing to be replaced. The machine has no other problems and has recently had the drum heater replaced due to corrosion on the halogen bulb contacts.
