Phaser 850 Paper Jam Problem

Hello!

I got a Phaser 850 with constant paper jam, at the upper feed roller.
The printer picks up the paper but the upper roller doesn`t move.
I`ve checked the electrical clutch, and it seems that it doesn`t get the signal from the printer to activate the clutch, so the roller can rotate.
Can someone please help me with som tips/solutions?

Update:

I found a reference in the manual to a "stuck heating plate in the drum preheater" that sounds interesting. It refers to smears. Its for the Phaser 840/850
[service & parts pdf. Page 192] but may be revelent.

Will pull preheat and see what i see. Stay tuned....

help...
have an 850 that's giving me media jam error....
I had a page wrapped around the upper feed assembly...which i finally cleared...
now (since i've reasembled) it's still giving me a media jam error...
but there's nothing there... any clue so I can override the jam code...
and see if there really is anything wrong...
or did the paper jam tear-up the sensor... where is ther paper jam sensor...
