phaser 850 n paper jams

I am getting media jam errors & the paper stops just before the removable plastic guide every time and is pushed out of the paper tray & is folded inside front cover . i have removed drum heater to check sensor & fed paper from the single front tray, same fault . any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks graham.
