i have a phaser 850 that gives me the fault 07,004.46:22916
when at start-up. what's the fix???

Probably the drum maintenance clutch thad is slipping, try to replace the clutch. Check also for worn out pins on the maintenance tray.

Can be 2 things: Pull the black maintenance tray out of the printer (open front cover). Inspect left and right side of the tray for worn pins. Is so, you can place some plastic strips. Second option: The electric clutch that is lifting the tray is broken. (Since a couple of months, xerox has released a new clucht for this position, could be the problem). Third option. Something is blocking the lifting of the tray. Pull out the tray and inspect the blue rails. They get often broken (almost every machine gets this), maybe a broken piece is blocking. You can still use the printer even when these rails are partly broken.
