When we turn the printer on after some warm up time, we get this error code:

15,004.45:126898

Thank you for any help.

This error means the drum heater has failed. Most likely the bulb(s) filaments in the heater have opened. Other possibilities are the drum temp sensor has failed or is dirty or the I/O board it plugs into failed. There could be a problem with the power supply since all heaters run directly from it. If you have experienced long warm up times either upon power up or between pages of multiple page print job then the drum heater (bulbs) have failed. If you remove the right side cover and power the printer up you can see the heater turn on by the orange glow through the chassis.

Thank you, it was indeed the bulbs. Just out of curiousity, what is the average run (# of copies) to expect out of one of these machines?

We've printed quite a few on this one and it would be nice to know if we will need to get a new one soon.

Thank you again.

I have seen these machines with in excess of 500k pages printed and still running good. The print engine chassis is as solid as any printer I have seen. I have 2 older models, 340 and 360, which are essentially the same printer, that both have over 200k pages and running fine. The duty cycle on these printers was not rated as high as they are capable of.
