I am running MSNetwork, Windows2000Pro, Dell Inspirion 8200's, and a Phaser 850 printer on the network with its own IP address.
When I have my laptop in the port replicator I cannot ping the printer IP address but ping every other IP on my LAN. If I take the patch cable out of the port rep and plug it into my integrated NIC on my laptop I am able to renew my IP and successuflly ping the printer and all other IPs.
This happened to a laptop 2 weeks ago and now it is affecting mine...Has anyone experience anything similiar with printers and port reps? Or just give me some more things to try...Thanks...Jake
