A customer's printer is displaying this error code and won't complete the warmup sequence.

If this is a printhead error and it needs replacing, where is a good source/sources for this, and is it user-installable for someone with moderate tech skills (me)? I've walked into this problem so appreciate your help--thanks!

The error indicates the left jet stack heater is not heating at all, or is heating too slowly. Yes you need a new print head, sorry I don't know any cheap place for print heads, but as far as installing it, I don't see why you couldn't its fairly straight foreward.
 
Xerox current has a flat fee rate for replacing the heads, this includes parts and labor, if i remember correctly it may be $1000. Though you may find an ASP that will sell you one cheaper provided you give him the core return. Replacing the head is not difficult, 2 mount screws that hold it in place.
