Won't power on. Power at plug ok! No lights, noises, or anything-completely dead. Power supply???

How long ago did you purchase your 8400? If it was less then one year ago it is under the factory warranty. The 8400 is a depot repair unit so you will have to take it in. I agree with Marty it is most likely the power supply.
