Phaser 8400 Major paper jam

I have a phaser 8400 and I was printing a group of business cards fron the document feeder when it grabbed all 8 sheets. The sheets are solidly wegdged in their. Ehen I try to pull them out the sheet tears. Is there a simple way to release the preasure on the sheets to get them out?

this does not answer the problem, about getting pages out. But have you check to see if the rollers are ok.
