On my Phaser 8400, I have a low ink warning. When I try to print (like from Photoshop), I dont get anything at all. The page feeds through like it tired to print, but its blank. I ran a diag. through the menu system and it was able to print.
Looking in the Ink Loader to see if there is any ink left, I noticed that I still had 4 rows (CMYB) of the original ink (about 1/4 left) as well as a brand new row behind it.
What I would like to know is, how can I use this ink? Seems like a waste to not be able to use it. There is another 4000 pages left in that remaining ink. Each new stick can print about 1,000 pages.. I think Xerox set the tolerance to low. I shouldnt have to have at least $200 worth of ink loaded at all time, just to have printing ability.
Any one have any ideas?
Thanks
