Phaser 8200 Power Supply

My Phaser 8200 hangs during startup showing only the XEROX screen. After reading thread723-1043190 I get the same code:

IDiags : 14.36.1
Initializing.

I am going to replace the power supply. I just want to make sure this is a good start. The power supply is the board with the on/off switch correct? Any guidance or instructions would be greatly appreciated.

That is the most likely bad part. I have seen other parts pull the voltage down and cause the problem but I'd say 95% of the time it is the PS.

I just wanted to let everyone know they were exactly right. I picked up a power supply unit on ebay for 20 bucks, replaced it and everything works fine. Thanks for your advice and help, I appreciate it.
