Phaser 8200 Automatic Shutdown

We have a Phaser 8200 which since emptying the maintenance tray now completely shuts down when in the middle of warming up. When it switches off, the maintenance tray can only be released by rotating the right hand belt.

If the printer is put in diagnostic mode by setting dip switch one on the pcb, once it has completed POST and shown the XEROX banner, the printer shuts down immediately

Is this a power problem and what is the fix ?
