This banding is parallell with the leading edge, and is usually visible in low-density cyan areas (like sky). Some prints have virtually no visible banding.
I'm in the process of checking the developer roller clearance, and I'm noticing that the rollers are totally caked with magnet particles that seem to be arranged in rows similar to the banding I'm seeing.
Would it be bad to clean all this gunk off these developer rollers? Will I have to perform some kind of toner-recharge procedure? (I read another post where he had no toner going down after he cleaned the dev rollers)
Thanks for any advice.
