Phaser 790 color problem

I recently replaced my print cartridge in my 790 and all was well until it started printing dark. It seems that black is getting into the all the colors. Red prints dark purple, Yellow is dark gold and so on. I replaced the cartridge and it is the same. I put a new black toner stick in and there was a lot of black toner spilled so I think that something needs to be cleaned. I did carefully vacuum it out but only got so much of the toner most likely. Can anyone tell me what I might try to clean things up and get my color back? Thank You.
