PHASER 780 HELP

I HAVE OWNED SEVERAL 780'S. THIS PARTICULAR ONE IS PRINTING LIGHT ON CARDSTOCK (ABOUT 2/3 THE NORMAL DENSITY) I'VE SWAPED OUT THE FUSER, IMAGING UNIT, ACCUMALATOR BELT AND 2ND BIAS ROLLER. ANYONE HAVE THIS PROBLEM. IT ALLSO PRINTS THE LEADING EDGE LIHT AND DISCOLORED ON PAPER AS WELL AS THERE SEEMS TO BE BLOTCHES CAUSED FROM THE 2ND BIAS TRANSFER ROLLER. COULD IT BE THE BTR CLUTCH?

ahh the Fuji-Xerox Renoir Engine ... also used in the QMS MC330, by Epson & eventualy Xerox used the mark II version of the engine.

All had the same issues to some degree (although Xerox's use of a powerfull fiery rip illiminated the effects of most).

I'm sorry to say - Engine Features - Your gonna spend a lot of time & cash trying to fix this engine. If your lucky you will but then something else will 'happen'. Worth noting the MCU is a particuarly problem part and has been know to generate problems & error codes that point to something else being the issue.

It's not gonna be what you want to hear but my suggestion is to upgrade to a new machine.
