Phaser 7700 printer kit is 1 or 4 colors?

Our office has a Phaser 7700 printer and our yellow print cartridge recently ran out. I looked up the part we'd need and found that there was a 4-pack (part #016-1883-00) I could order rather than each individual cartridge. Upon receiving the package though, it looks like each of the 4 cartridges are the same. There's no distinguishing marks to indicate what color they might be, no different serial numbers, etc. Everything I found indicated that the "4-pack" would be one cartridge of each color; even the re-order number indicated on the inside of the printer is this number, but how can I tell which color is which? As I said, each cartridge looks the same... Peach color stickers and letterin, says A1-A4 on the top of the cartridge, the whole package was 016-1883-00, it's the right model for our printer... Help! What's going on? Which color is which cartridge?

Only the toner carts are individual colours. All the print carts can be used in any slot. Any print cart (image drum) can be used with any colour!

raw65, you are my hero!! I've been looking for an answer for this quite literally for months, and could never find a straight answer.

So let me make sure I'm understanding: I bought the 4-pack of print cartridges. If my current cyan runs out, I can pop in any of the four that I have. If another of the original color cartridges (yellow, say) runs out a few months down the road, I can pick any of the remaining three and put it in its place?

If that's the case, that makes so much sense, and yet is so incredibly unintuitive. =P
