I have a nearly new Phaser 740 printer that hasn't been the same since my wife ran 66lb card stock though it. The documentation says that it can only handle 60lb card stock.

Whenever I print It always jams with the following errors:
Paper Jam at A
Transfer kit error
Error 33

Q: The printer has less than 700 images on it - so it has seen very little use. What can I do to fix it? I've tried reseating all the subsystems but I may be missing one. Any ideas would be appricated.

Thanks

Start by opening the printer's left-side door. Pull the Paper-Feeder Assembly (A-assembly) out as far as it will slide on its rails. Remove any media found (if any) in or around the assembly. You will need to push the two blue tabs inward to release the ribbed metal plate.

Then lift up the metal plate and remove any media found (if any) underneath it. The plate should latch in the open position. Close the feed unit, latch the ribbed plate down, slide the Paper-Feed Unit back into the printer and close the access door.

Also you might have to uninstall and reinstall the paper feed guide assembly

Last thing, check the fuser assembly for binding, remove it and turn the nob to test. It should turn with a light drap, if you have difficulty, turning it, it could be jammed, and needs to be replaced.

Try all that
