for a couple weeks i have problems with the fixation process.
in spots the toner is simply falling off the paper again.

a copier technician told me, since my fuser is still at 89%, it might be out of fuser oil.
some papers seem to suck it up like nothing.

any one know what exactly that is and where to refill it ?

Run the configuration page, look for engine firmware number, if it is anything less than 24 then there lies the problem. There is a known bug that will cause the problem you see when printing high coverage prints. This is called cold offset when the toner does not fuse properly and in the same spot every page. There is an eprom on the engine that can be replaced to upgrade the firmware, alot of times it will have the number on it i.e. v17 or v21. Chances are you may also have to replace the fuser at the same time because lot of times you upgrade the firmware and the fuser has a bad spot due to the cold offset. If you replace just the fuser then it may work for a short time then you will see the problem. You can not replace oil in the fuser, the oil is on a web roller which is the fuser roll you replace. replacing it will not resolve the problem.

hmm, software says
Firmware-Version: 1.24 / 4.08 / 24 / 8.62
the only sockets rom i see on the board is above memory and connector slot
1147-01
Rom v2.4
3899

so i guess i have a useable version !?

Firmware-Version: 1.24 / 4.08 / 24 / 8.62
the only socketed eprom(above ram and connector) says rom v2.4

Your printer already has firmware version 24 based on the configuration you showed above. Sounds as if the problem then lies in the fuser. I would suggest replacing the entire fuser.
