Recently had an error message on phaser 7300 stating that there was a jam at door A. Clear the jam, but the error will not go away. Have looked up and down, removed paper cartiridge, used canned air, vacumed. Damn thing is as clean as if it were new. Still the error persists.

Perhaps it is a bad circit board or something. Would rather try anything than have a service rep come here for $250 per hour.

Any suggestion?

force feed a piece of paper thru there. Usually someone removes a jam by pulling the paper back the way it came into the printer and the thickness sensor tears a small piece of paper off and it gets stuck. open door A and feed the paper up the side and use the rollers to help it along it should come out where the belt is.

This was great advice. I actually did not get the paper all the way through, but I guess enough did the trick.
