I've just purchased a refurbed Phaser 540 THINKING that it printed on legal size paper. (As stated on the Xerox web site). However, I can't get that to happen - and now see that the standard settings for the original 540 do not include this option. Here's my question - does anyone know why not? The imaging unit is the same on the 540/540plus/550 (the latter print on legal), the tray holds legal, and the driver for the 540 and the 540 Plus is the same as per the most recent release from Xerox. Seems like apples and apples to me. Perhaps the Unit's HD could be re-formatted to the 540 Plus specs? Any and all feedback would be very helpful.
