Drum heater faillure, replace Drum heater and or powersupply. How to check, remove right cover and power up. When you see the drum rotating you must see a flaching light. This light is the drum heater, If you dont see replace this heater and or powersupply. Greetz Dany

Hi I have taken the covers off and watched the printer start up and can see no light. It looks like I need to replace the drum heater and power supply as you say. Can anyone let me know where I can get the parts from and does anyone have the appropriate parts of the service manual to explain how to change the bits?

Thanks

Barney :)

More than likely you only need to replace the drum heater. p/n is 650336400. There is quite a bit of disassembly required to remove and replace it. The paper preheater needs to come out and you need to make sure that the brown spring loaded buttons on each side snap into place so it is not misaligned and scratches the drum.
