I have the error 05,002,42 I have replaced the circuit board on the lower left, I have replaced the disc and sensor unit on the end of the drum, I have replaced the main circuit board (motherboard) I still have the same error where do I go from here? HELP

The error reads as follows:

"Y-axis position failure, the drum is not where is should be, possibly because the drum position sensor electronics have failed, or because the motor drive or drive belts have failed, or because something is physically blocking the motion of the drum"

What I would check is the sensor on the left side of the printer. As the drum moves, the sensor reads where the position of the drum is with the red LED in this black tripod assembly. If you do not see a red LED, then your problem lies here. I would replace the position sensor and/or the I/O Circuit Board that the position sensor plugs into just below.

I hope this helps.
