How do I go about trouble shooting the y axis 05,002,42:4270.
I can see a red led lit up inside the drum sensor on the left side. the drum turns freely, although it never turns on it's own when powered on, should it. Is there trouble shooting steps published, or is it trial and error. Is there away to eliminate certain parts for functionality.

Make sure the drum sensor disk is riding in the middle of that sensor where you see the red light. If it rubs against either side this will cause that error. Also if the sensor or disk is dirty, you can remove the drum position sensor assy and clean the disk and sensor, you can also try and clean it in place.
