Hi, Just recieved a Phaser 350 purchased over Ebay. Got it in... pulled it out of teh box and there was a ton of drum fluid all over the bottom of the printer and the print head restraint was not in place. We powered it up and it made a ton of grinding and clunking noises.

We then replaced the maintence tray. It now clunks 3 times on startup and was only displaying the firmware version (3.30). I removed the main board from the back, removed the SIMM and the ethernet card, and it hung around at the Initializing Please Wait forever, which is where I am now. I saw a LED blinking on the back next to the two dipswitches that flashed when the unit is powered on. I have no idea if they indicate anything, but here is the flash sequence.

3 short flashes long pause
2 short flashes one long flash long pause
2 short flashes short pause and 2 short flashes

Does anyone have any suggestions????

Your printer may not be getting "enough" power from the 120 VAC plug you have it plugged into. Shut it down and plug it into an outlet that has nothing else runnign off of it.
