Hello all,
I recently aquired a Phaser 350 printer. I purchased some gold nuggets / color nuggets / color stix (real tektronix supplies). The printer runs thru the test page fine, but there is still some jets that aren't working.
I found another post on the internet about the service options, and turned up the crystal drive strength to 190, ran two more test pages, then turned the drive strength back down to the original setting of 128.
The jets that are not working, is there a fix? I burned thru an entire set of color stix running cleanings and it really made no difference.
Is there a fix? I have not tried taking the printer apart, and I do not have the service manual PDF for the unit. I'm not out of ink, and am curious on opinions. It is scary how fast these eat money, I guess this is why Xerox gives away the printers to people that use alot of ink.
Once the thing is printing properly, will I still have to run cleanings often? I purchased the colorstix from eBay to test the thing, I'm approaching with caution.
I'd imagine a million dollars of taxpayer money goes into color stix bi-monthly.
