Phaser 350 partly prints partly false-color images

Without giving any error messages about 8 of 10 Postscript files (images from Pro/E) copied to a Phaser 350 seem partly false-colored. Files are OK when viewed with psview.
Correct and false parts in printout are horizontally separated but do never show up in the same order or place - random behaviour.
However, the Tektronix Demo PDF File prints fine! System is SGI IRIX 6.5.19 - are there any known problems with SGI Tektronix printer drivers?
