I am looking at purchasing a lower tray assembly for my phaser 350, but need to know if it will work. The paper tray that came with the machine is not working and I am concerned that the operation of the lower tray is predicated on the operation of the upper tray. Can any one help?

Phaser 350 lower paper tray assembly

The upper tray on my 350 does not work 90% of the time, but the lower tray works almost perfectly. I suspect it depends on what is wrong with your tray. Mine the cork on the arm is bad and it doesn't always grip onto the paper. try cleanning it with a little alcohol and a pencil eraser. If it is too far gone like mine you will have to replace it. Otherwise just use the lower tray, it seems to be a little more robust in operation and can hold a lot more paper.
