I get this and it says that service is required. Unfortuantely, this is an old printer, and there is no one in my area who services these printers still.

Can anyone give me advice on how to fix this error?

The Thermistor in the reservoir appears to be open. Replace the P/Head ribbon Cable. Check Connections. Replace the printhead.

As per the Service Guide. First check all the cables to the printhead are correctly seated & not damaged. If all is in order I'd suggest that you'll need a new printhead rather than just having a random cable failure. Also ensure that you have had no spillage of molten ink
