We recently assembled 1 working phaser 350 out of 2 non-working ones, but previous to that I have had no experience with them so I don't know how they are supposed to behave. Which brings me to my question.
Every 24 hours the phaser will wake it's self up out of energy save mode an run a cleaning cycle and spit out a cleaning sheet, is this normal? Or is there a setting I'm over-looking?
It burned through an entire set of color stix in 4 days and never even printed a real print job! We read that you are supposed to leave these machines on because they use a lot of wax on start up, but at this rate it's way more expensive to leave it running.

Does everyones phasers' do this?

For the Phaser 360, there's a function on one of the menus that selects how often the cleaning cycle is executed. Presumably the 340 is similar. Just run through the menus until you find such an option. Good Luck. - Jim
