phaser 350 -always load tray/cont,/cancel/prints clean.page.

i have a tektronix phaser 350, recently bought wax sticks,powers up but always gives error message,load tray, waiting for paper, continue or cancel, when prssing continue it prints cleaning page and then goes back to same message, when pressing cancel it doesn't.so i'm wasting alot of ink,is this printer worth the trouble or should i just scrap it. can anyone help.

What OS? Do you have the latest drivers for this printer on this OS?

Two cents...
If your running this with a parallel cable, is it new cable such as an IEEE 1284 compliant cable, if not it my not be communicating both ways. Also a bidirectional printer port needs to be selected in the bios

its not connected to any pc yet, i,m just trying to get it in ready mode.
