Phantom ringing on ext 10

Installed new t1 with DID's on existing Partner. Proccessor is a R7.0 91J.
Intercom button rings on ext 10,displays "voice messaging sys,no one there to talk to. I was informed I needed to upgrade the T1 module. But in doing so I have to use a R6 Proc. module with the upgrade pc card.
Question: Is this valid info and do I need to do any programming with the R6 Proc.with the upgrade pc card?

Thats good info. If you look back to previous posts this is talked about.The upgrade for the T-1 module will only work on an ACS R6. We perform the upgrade on the T-1 modules before we send them out.
