Phantom ringback on users phone

Hi All

Got a bit of a weird issue
IP500 V2 11.0.4.4.0 build 6
User has a 1608L
System uses SIP trunks from Voiceflex

The problem only happens when making an outside call ,if user has been unable to gain an answer or it has gone to answerphone. It doesn't happen straight away but a couple of minutes later, the phone rings there is nobody there, and in the display is the number that they have got no answer from .
If they makes a successful call the problem does not occur.
This problem is only affecting one user...
Any ideas

This sounds like the call is not actually disconnected and rings back.

The user may just press a seconds appearance button and thinks that this disconnects the call or the hookswitch it not working properly

if that is not the case - reboot

if that also doesn't resolve it you can start with the continuous logging on SSA as it is easier to read than the Monitor log and then you can play it back over and over again looking at different things in the system. You can look at the user, the trunk etc and see what happens.

If you cannot see what causes it in SSA then you have to bite the Monitor bullet.
