Hello all,

sometimes, I got an indication on my switch (ibm m14/brocade 24000 ?) that I had a phantom port, generally when connecting a new hba on it :

port 1: id 1G Online L-Port 1 public, 1 phantom

The only solution I found to get the wwn is to delete the hba (rmdev under aix) or reboot the OS in order to 'force' hba or switch to communicate together. (I try many many cfgmgr but no way...)

Can someone explain me what happens ?

Thanks in advance.
