Phantom pages on Cisco ATA/Valcom paging.

Good day! I cut over a Cisco VOIP system that replaced a trunk level access paging on an NEC system. I installed and ATA to call a station level access adapter which Valcom recommended. Sometimes after someone makes a page, the ATA will access the paging system on it's own and you just hear a loud hum on it. Almost sounds like A/C interference or ringing voltage from the ATA. In between the station level page adapter there's a feedback eliminator and then it goes to the page control unit. Valcom wanted me to make sure the "open loop disconnect" was on and the "reorder tone" was off on the ATA extension but I don't see that option. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks for your help!

From what I understand you must use an interface along with the amp.
Bogen - UTI1
or
Valcom - VIP-820

Or alike on both.

These will provide any disconnection.

What device model did you install?
Maybe somebodies has a sticky auto dial for that ext?, check if any reporting calls to that ext# of the ATA.

Just some thoughts anyway.

Thanks for the reply. We don't have/need an amp, we're just using a typical Valcom paging system. But anyway I called Valcom back several times and they had me try several dip settings and we found one that works okay.
