Environment:Mac OS X 10.4.2, Quark 6.5
Working with large files that originated in older Quark, possibly ver. 3 or 4.
Referencing (placing) 2 PDF files per page, 1 of parts catalog artwork and 1 chart.
X% of the artwork files placed have a problem when printing to a local output device to create a hard copy proof(Savin), but not all. Chart files placed do not show this problem.at all.
On paper, a hairline is printing on 2 sides of each artwork PDF placed on the page.
The hairline location is not always relative to the picture box or margins.
On screen, in a PDF generated using Export PDF Layout the files look just fine. The original, referenced PDF do not have any lines in the locations showing on paper.
A brand new Quark 6.5 file created and referencing the same PDF files do not exhibit this behavior.
Is this a known issue and is there a fix?
Does anyone have a workaround if this can't be fixed?
TIA
