PRI is hand-off from the IAD 2400 connected to Cox Scientific Atlanta modem.

Problem presents as during conversations the far end can not hear the user speaking and call disconnects.

System Status show no alarms on the PRI and 24 Hour Performance indicates no slips or misframes. This indicates to me that the handshake between the IAD and IPO is good.

Cox support testing center indicates signal strength variations on the coax but when they dispatch a tech to test cable from pole to Scientific Atlanta modem the tech says must be IPO.

Any suggestions to getting a clear resolution other than power cycling modem when issues occur?

Thanks

this isnt an IPO issue?

PRI is pretty rock solid mature tech.... voip isnt ;-)

also. you could upgrade your IPO to the latest rel 5... you never know your luck.

I don't think it is an IPO issue at all; just wantend second opinion that we weren't leaving anything out on our end.

It's never a Cox issue........

Now we have static on the PRI; how does a PRI have static?

No alarms, no misframes or slips.....but of course not a Cox HFC issue.

Love it!
