Is it possible (and if so how) to log out a user from their phone through the console, as I cannot make changes through LD 95 without the phone being logged out.

Not sure what you mean by "phantom extensions".
Are you asking about agent TNs that are acquired by Contact Center?
Are you getting a particular message from the system? I'm not aware of anything in LD 95 that is affected by a phone being logged in.

Sorry it wasn't LD 95 it was LD 20

I get this error when making changes to a virtual extension

SCH1944
Virtual and Host Terminals are not allowed to be changed (CHG), removed
(OUT), copied (CPY) or moved (MOV) when the VO Worker is logged in
(Overlay 11).

The users hotdesk and I would like to know if I can remotely log them out

The only way I know how to do this, is I change my phone to be a host phone, then login using that user's ID and password, then log them out. You will then be able to make changes to the user's virtual TN.
Maybe someone has a better way?

Not too familiar with virtual phones but there is a procedure described in the feature guide called Virtual Office administrator
logout that apparently lets you log out phones via Element Manager.
I'm guessing there may also be a way in LD 117 but it doesn't show that.
