Phantom DN Question

Can I set up voicemail on a phantom dn (1111) and have it ncfw to 2222( a real phone) and then if 2222 doesn't pickup have it revert back to the voicemail for 1111. I'm trying to avoid having to install a phone and burn a real TN. Thanks TJ

Yes, you just need to set up a mail box for 1111 in the voice mail system.

I tried it and it rang on 2222 and then went to 2222's voicemail after 4 rings. Anything I need to change?

Add SFA to both phones in the class of service.

Theres only 1 phone 2222, 1111 is an ACD




This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

Added SFA to 2222 in CLS and it still goes to 2222's voicemail.

No you cant do that without a call handler, ie symposium or CCR

try using a phantom dn and not a dummy acddn

The start of the thread says 1111 is a phantom DN not an ACD DN.

Wont work if 1111 is ACD DN.
