I am being called into a maintenance issue on a 406 where the operator position is making phantom calls. Not really sure where to start in the trouble shooting, open to opinions.
I had one tell me the phone system was sweating.... Yes sweating like a copper water pipe would. 2 phone systems later (since they were shorted) the owner finally believed me that the secretary was dumping the flower vase on the system b/c she didnt want to answer the phone.
other than that a monitor trace would be great... you could also set ssa to trace the extension. Not as detailed but easier to match with the monitor trace to filter out the other garbage.
