Hello,

I am migrating a PFC Application from PB 6.5 to PB 8.0.

What is the procedure for migrating?
1. Putting all the pbls through the Migration Assistant works fine. But does this fix the obsolete code?
2. The site mentions in step 8 that I should be copying the PFC 8.0 pbls on the PFC 6.5 pbls and regenerating or migrating the object which may fix the obsolete code but I'm getting a full bunch of errors during this?

Which approach should I be using? Any ideas?

Hi Milind,

You can refer to sybase.com for further details. On the site they have discussed migration plan.

Bye,

I am in the midst of the same process from 6.5 to 8.01.
It all seems to go OK - and I can run my application from PB interface.
My problem is that I can't deploy it - and create dll's.
In the log file I get syntax error in a cghnyi20.c file in a temporary directory.
I have no idea what to do - I don't even know what these C files are for.
